To make the dream a reality, I graduated from the University of California, Irvine, in 1979 and received my law degree from the University of San Diego in 1983. I am licensed to practice in California and Florida.
To do something right, it's imperative to specialize and focus. I have always limited my practice exclusively to personal injury law since the outset.
It is my belief this leads to higher quality representation than that with someone who practices in several areas.
From the outset, even as a first-year law student and law clerk, I always sought out positions that would allow me to develop my skills in the personal injury arena.
By initially associating with large firms, I learned the tricks of the trade until I was able to venture out on my own.
